What are our services?

We provide a range of different tutoring options to suit the needs of your child:

Private 1:1 Multisensory Structured Language Therapy (MSL)

MSL is a specialised approach to teaching reading and writing that is explicit, systematic and cumulative. It engages multiple senses simultaneously - visual, auditory and kinaesthetic to help students connect to language elements. This approach is designed to assist students with more complex learning needs, such as dyslexia and dysgraphia. Sessions are 45 minutes in length.

1:1 Private Tutoring

We work one-on-one with your child to meet their identified learning goals in reading, writing and spelling. Instruction is explicit, using evidence based practice and the science of how we learn. Sessions are 45 minutes in length to reduce the cognitive load, and to keep your child engaged and eager to learn!

Semi-private and Small Group Tutoring

We offer semi-private (2:1) and small group tutoring (3-4 students) in your child’s selected area of need. Sessions are designed to cater for your child’s learning goals in a fun and dynamic environment. Students will be grouped with others of a similar age level and ability. Groups are a great way to boost you child’s confidence and communication skills through peer learning.

How do we ensure success for your child?

  1. Each student is assessed in reading, writing and spelling to get a clear picture of their strengths and areas of development. We provide honest feedback to parents and construct personalised learning goals to address each child’s academic needs.

  2. We learn more about your child so that we can provide relevant and engaging content in our lessons. We want learning to be a fun and enjoyable experience that your child will engage with enthusiastically.

  3. Content is explicitly taught using current and proven teaching strategies backed by the science of learning. Each lesson aligns with the student’s learning goals.

  4. Lessons are scaffolded so that every student has an opportunity to succeed and meet their learning needs.

  5. Honest, timely and regular feedback is given to parents. We provide additional activities to consolidate concepts taught during each tutoring session.
