Welcome and thanks for being here!

Hello! My name is Hayley and I am the founder and lead tutor of Transform Tutoring.

I am a qualified and experienced Primary Teacher with over 13 years of teaching experience in both the classroom and as a specialised literacy tutor. I have experience teaching students from Kindergarten to Year 8.

Over the past few years, I have become passionate about teaching in a way that is engaging, explicit, relevant and informed by the science of how we learn! In particular, I have a special interest in working with students that are neurodivergent, and need explicit instruction & support to help them grow as a learner.

I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive learning environment where students feel confident taking risks and exploring new ideas. My goal is for students to genuinely enjoy learning, knowing they can rely on the strategies I teach to guide and support their progress.

In my downtime, you will find me reading, painting and cuddling up with my two cats! I’m always on the hunt for my next overseas adventure and have been lucky enough to have lived in two other countries (Japan and Canada). A future goal of mine is to found an NGO that empowers educators to deliver professional development for teachers in under-resourced countries.

“Hayley is a fabulous educator. She has a warm and gentle demeanour that really helped our son feel at ease in his 1-on-1 sessions. As a trained teacher, Hayley was able to assess his spelling and writing skills quickly and effectively develop a plan to maximise the impact of each session. We were always really grateful for her summary of what was covered each week, her thoughts on what was going on for our son, and her recommendations”
